Hello and welcome to Growing Possibilities, the new blog hosted by XiteBio Technologies. Here you’ll find conversations, news, and perspectives relating to agriculture and the environment. In our daily lives at the IRD (Innovation, Research, & Development) Centre, we constantly keep ourselves up-to-date with the knowledge we need to innovate, test, and provide microbial technologies and agri-inputs for sustainable agriculture.

We feel passionate about the work we do, and that’s why we’ve started this blog: to share our knowledge on soil-plant-microbe topics related to agriculture and hopefully take part in meaningful conversations with you.

So have a look around, bookmark this blog, e-mail it to a friend, share your favourite posts, or subscribe to receive updates, and let’s get started! And of course, we always love getting your comments and feedback on topics that interest you most, and what you might like to see discussed and showcased here in the future.

I recently sprayed a 640 acre field of Green Peas on our farm, half of the field was inoculated with XiteBio PeasRhizo and half with a traditonal low cost inoculant. Previously when I sprayed the field for weeds I could not clearly find a line where the field changed from brand to brand, HOWEVER this next pass through with the sprayer to apply fungicide was an eye popper! I could easily identify the line and could clearly see that the XiteBio treated portion of this 640 acre block was remarkably nicer, fuller and healthier plants with a very deep rich green color and standing taller. A very very impressive stand of Peas very possibly the best stand of Field peas we have ever had on this farm in over 20 years of field pea production. Again we will watch intently as the growing season progresses but we have been pleasantly surprised by how much better our XiteBio inoculated Peas looks versus the lower cost competitor.

I am very excited about the potential of the XiteBio program, the products will speak for themselves in terms of outstanding results which will undoubtabely be a result of the exceptional research and development team at work. To date the field peas planted on our own farm using PeasRhizo Inoculant from XiteBio look exceptional and we will intently watch as the growing season progresses.

Yes, I had the opportunity to see some of the SoyRhizo treated soybean fields last year. Just awesome. Plenty of pods all over & I think its a good product in the market. But I had a difficulty to find the company who is making it, now I know it is XiteBio.
